Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso iridescent pink Italian art glass melon cut bowl. Documented to Master glass artist and designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950-1960. The bowl has a heavy aurene / iridescent surface showing a rainbow of colors. It also has an indent at each end. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or cigar ashtray. Midcentury era. Measures: 6 3/4" long x 5 5/8 wide x 2 1/4" high.
