Offering a remarkable vintage ceramic Bitossi for Rosenthal Netter Cinese vase, circa 1960s. The rough glazed texture and intense blue colored glaze makes this vase stand out above the rest.It was designed by the renowned 1960s ceramicist, Aldo Londi. It has an inscribed and painted metallic gold base and it is signed on the bottom: Italy 52/2.

This vase is from Bitossi's China Series.The "Cinese" series of vases and sculptures was created by Bitossi's creative director, Aldo Londi, who was inspired by the beauty of ancient Chinese bronze vessels. Manufactured and made for export for the American Company Rosenthal Netter.

This is a well documented and hard to find Mid Century Modern vase (especially in this condition) and it is guaranteed authentic by the artist and from the era.Vintage Italian craftsmanship at its best!This vase can be used for large flower arrangements as it is glazed on the inside as well.


EXCELLENT CONDITION.....there are some professional repairs to the gold at the base...hardly noticeable and mentioned only for thoroughness.The new owner will be very happy about the condition of this item.
