Vintage Hammered Buenilum Pitchers.

Buenilum Aluminum company was founded by Frederick Buehner and his business partner Franz Wanner. Buehner emigrated from Germany to the U.S in 1929 He developed a unique formula for using hammered aluminum, which he trademarked in 1933 as Buenilum, a cross between Buehner and aluminum.

Vintage hammered Buenilum pieces with the initials BW flanking an image of a castle turret on the back, along with an imprint of the name Buenilum, are considered valuable Vintages as of 2014. They are known for their workmanship and design; some are even found in museums.
