Opens and closes with ease. Without the pin it means you have to hold the lid as the pin acted as a holder so the top can swivel in place. Totally functional as is but again a new pin would not be hard to find. less
Good size antique copper tea kettle will add old world charm to your kitchen.Aged beautifully with a nice patina or of you prefer you can polish and bring out the copper shine. I will leave this up to the next owner. I prefer the older patina look but that’s just me.
