From the Creil region of Northern France, a transfer printed polychrome plate, titled – La Poupeé (the doll) Circa 1830.

The image shows No. 7 from a series of twelve. A young lady in a white period dress, takes a moment from her gardening chores to play with her doll. Her gardening tools sit beside her. The plate is titled and numbered, a wide hand-colored floral running border meets a Canary yellow rim. Wonderful bright color on a crisp transfer.
