Originated in 1944 as the C & C Silver Company by Joseph Caiozzo and Harmody. Incorporated in 1946 as Sheridan Silver Co. Inc., Taunton, Mass.The two common forms of plated silver are Sheffield plate and silverplate/electroplate.
